Swiss 9 player:

G1 vs Nightwatch Brotherhood:Lose / G2 vs Martell Fealty: Win / G3 vs Tyrell Lord of the crossing: Win / Semifinal vs Baratheon banner of the kraken: Win / Final vs Greyjoy Fealty: Win

Well...there isn't really much to explain, the deck is an aggro very strong who have an heavy controll about opponents characters and and location thanks to the massive quantity of remuval, and thanks to the brotherhood without banners, wirwood bow and rattleshirt. You can easly win the military challenge, going the most of time you can as the first player to cut more charachers than you can, or kneel them thanks to the intimidate given by the agenda (if you don't need stealth to win). Open the most of the times with all the plot with claim 2 or Marched, so the opponent must overextend his economy for play more characters for resist better at your aggro, after then you should controll the location thanks to Political disaster, so you cut his economy or important location for his controll. Now you should play Put to the Torch &/or The north Remembers to destroy what remains, and you can start to go as second player and use agenda for draw with insight because you should have played a lot of event, or you can start to give renown so you can begin to play for close the match. Usually you will never close before plot 6 so have to maintein calm and make really good decision about what you need to remove and what not, because you don't have really much money to do everything.

Is really funny to play if you like aggo, so even if i won a tournament with not much player i decided to post it because maybe there isn't list about brotherhood actually and i guess could be a good point of view to start to think how this agenda can be used.

I'm really proud of it because it works better than i think, but i didn't tested it very much (i've done lesser than 20 match), so probably can be better choice so i'm here ready to discuss who want to suggest something, and after all i swear you can enjoy if you decide to play it ^^

Looks great! Are those grindy control-reset decks you see a lot today a problem?

NerferNazgul 232

@iaanwell, is very situational, i can kill varys before make reset, with harrenal or put or roose, and if him/her try to use him with The Last Gigant i can cancel with bran or kill with harrenal or can be blocked by begging brothers or the board could be too small and it could die by a claim 3, even if i didn't really tested vs hard reset when i builded this list i considered how to block that too. Opponent valar isn't very problematic, and you make controll location too, so he risk to slow himself too much and you take a very huge advantage for can be recovered by the opponent. If you have more fear about opponent hands than location, you can change put to the torch with tarred heads, but is lesser synergic with the north remembers, but could be an idea, if you are talking about some other specific deck, please explain so i can give you a better answer ^^

Do you think flea bottom would be an option too? With the wildling scouts and bran, also north remembers. I like the tears in this deck. Could be a great surprise for you opponent.

Maybe the new dreadfort maesters. More claim raise! :-) but unfortunately no synergy with flea..

@King Nothingi have Made a changes for this list after that tournament, but flea wasn't an option because i haven't 2 slot for that and i Like play against that with last hearth scout and isle of ravens, and play lesser than 2 flea, ls too random as choice (LHS help me very much to pass without surprise, and help me vs nw/lanny and vs combo and have a good cost/strong and have the power icon); the master is really too expensive to be a card who Will be sacrificed, and i prefer to not increase stark characters cuz the choice of my limited ls for neutral/ unique cards..

@NerferNazgul agreed on Flea Bottom, it's indeed hard too activate in Stark and very situational. I ended up preferring playing against it too. Any hints on which changes you're experimenting with?

NerferNazgul 232

@zackactually i changed:

  • Valar with Retalation because i thinked i controll enough opponent board so maybe i could just continue keep him pressure with another claim 2 and it worked;
  • 1 ward for the third harrenal, because make really more pression to the opponent at the same cost;
  • 1 great hall, 1 roseroad and 1 ocean road for 3 kingsroad to be faster, and with political disaster i get lesser damage;
  • 2 put to the torch for 2 nightmare because is more usefull and sometimes block the opponent in the same ways, even for 1 phase;
  • 1 rattleshirt's raiders for 1 Syrio because 2 rattleshirt's is enough and syrio is another stealth who have a very usefull ability for this deck, and very usefull vs martell;
  • 3 wintefell steward for 1 shaggydog and 2 rickon, well this is kinda tech, because winterfell was there only for setup or be claimmed by military, rickon have the same cost and have an ability who can block tutor who can be very strong in particular vs tyrell for block margery queen, and if you have shaggydog have a good spread of cost/icon, i dont really need 3 cost 1 for setup because the only 2 characters who cost 7 i don't want to put them in set up;
  • at last osha for the third put to the sword for be more aggro, and osha is a stark card, i prefer have lesser stark than i can for use my agenda and use my oceanroad.

I have to test the new pack, where id like to test mag (just for the lulz), and maybe valar doheris...after all that changes worked but im sure there is some slot who can be changed for the meta who your gonna to find.

If you have something else to suggest im here ready to listen, I like sharing different opinion !

Thanks @NerferNazgul, they seem to make sense to me. I'm gonna play test a bit and give more detailed feedback.

Off the top of my ahead, I wonder if, after entering Retaliation, you might want to switch the 2nd Sneak Attack for a Barring the Gates, which would be great to counter stuff like Ghosts of Harrenhal and Fire and Blood. I'm assuming here that 3x 2-claim plots would be enough of course…

zack 126

@NerferNazgul so, here is the version I'm playing right now (with credits to your version in the notes section).

The biggest changes are:

  • plot line, where I'm playing Marched to the Wall 2x
  • I've basically removed the location control module (rationale: if the deck works as it should, it's useless to also control locations; if it fails, location control it's not going to be enough to swing the game back to you)
  • increased econ (playing 11 limited), because I think the deck was really suffering from low economy

I'm quite happy with how it plays thus far, but I've two open questions/work-in-progress points:

Happy to hear your feedback about all this!

NerferNazgul 232

@zack about barring the Gates i Think is very situational, if i have to change something i guess i will cut battle of blackwater for a varys riddle, or annals of castle black or head on spikes;

About your changes i don't really Like 2 marched because i think is risky to you and isnt a claim 2;

Remove controll location is not a choice in my meta because theres a lot of controll deck based on location and without them i cant win; The new valar could be a good choice; About the tears i prefer maximize the removal; Battle of blackwater is the plot id Like to change, but i always have fear about dupes on location and characters in paricular vs tyrell who draw a lot and play 3x lady in waiting.
