Go last, go first.
Well that would be my first advice for melee.
Its hard to talk about melee games in a report because I don't really remember what I did or what others did either and the more I think about it the worse a light it paints me in (I may have got a table to go for the 14 year old player to open the way for a win). But I would like to thank everyone I played on the day, had 6 great games of melee.
The deck is simple; play effecient characters that allow you to avoid duel but win challenges without exposing yourself. Try not to go too hard so you can convince everyone someone else is a bigger threat and keep cards in reserve if a Valar happens. The deck can easily get 10-15 power in one turn on name day tourney with olennas machinations and informants.
Restricted card: Lady Sansa's Rose. 3 power on any challenge, easiest requirements to meet, and can be played multiple times per turn. Seemed much better than any restricted card.
Other MVPs: Name day tourney, olennas machinations, Garlan and green apple knight.
Jousting pavillion was great in testing but I didn't see one all day. Willas showed up all the time and he was crap.
Needs more Willas ;-)
