Howdy friends. Corresponding deck list to the linked episode in the video series.

Brief descriptor: I like it when factions do powerful things without using a main pillar of what usually makes them competitively successful. In this case, its a Baratheon deck using zero R'hllor kneel and instead hedging towards the highest end of their cost curve and the reusable powerful stats and reactions which those cards hold. Dominance phase decks have waxed and waned in power level or some time now, but by being super greedy with the character and plot choices, I think something along these lines can be a breakout contender for the foreseeable future. Building off of a regional winning deck (https://thronesdb.com/decklist/view/9228/bara-fealty-norcal-regionals-winner-1.0), if Wall, rush and Targ decks got you down, this may be a good answer to try out.

Thanks for watching!

Cool, I am bingewatching your YouTube videos while on holiday, really looking forward to test your different decks, great work mate! Having played the standard kneeling Bara for a while, this looks like a refreshing approach.

Great vidz, always learning alot watching you play, think its awesome that you are sharing these, keep em coming! In regards to this deck, did you encounter Duel in any matchups? Also how did it fare against NW Builder decks?

blp 1

How well do you think Northern Encampment will fit into this deck?

SirLargeness 470

@blp it immediately should replace the rose roads and stone drum and allow you to fit other desirable neutrals into the deck. 5/5 stars

blp 1

@SirLargeness What other neutrals would you include?

@DrNovak You get Dueled with the deck. It happens. You just play another big dude. Since the decks playing duel are not in themselves aggressive, recovering isnt too big a deal. Generally it doesnt result in too big a swing, you wanna keep Mel and Selmy, and its ok to kill Bobert and Stanis (Selmy being knelt also not the worst thing in the world)

NW in general folds hard to this deck, against Builders the trick is to keep their power gain minimized to just the 2 per turn from the wall to give you time to find Chamber, then nightmares the wall a couple times directly to ensure you overtake them before they cross. You absolutely must save wildfire for turn 5 or 6, as you need to ensure that you can use it twice within succession if need be on like turns 6 then 8.

@blpNo idea other than another littlefinger, maybe a third nightmares at some point in time. unlikely that id find the slots im comfortable with removing for them, but its nice to have the options available.

Or may I suggest Hand's Judgement or two, to cancel HJs to the Nightmares (did occur at least once in the vidz) or more importantly Ours is the fury when the opponents HJ costs 2 gold and a HJ cancel on our behalf goes for free, annoying as hell :)

This deck has had some wins for me, but gets routinely crushed from Targ, and a Grayjoy deck will coast to victory with punk Theon and The Seastone Chair preventing big characters from defending and applying claim to Bob/Mel/Stannis, and Dagmar taking Chamber of the Painted Table from you and turning the tables on dominance.

@SirLargeness Hi, sir, I have done good with this deck for me. What would you do to change this deck for today's game field? Thank you very much for your answer. I wish you a lot of game success.
