For too long we have looked to Greyjoy for this fabled archetype, but they have been false prophets. No, their eschaton is not the true mill, but merely the filling of the discard pile for theft and the pumping of their woman king and markets.

The true mill has always been Lannister. While their pillage game has not been as strong as their seareaving brethren, the greatest pure mill has always been theirs, Without His Beard, and with the release of Maester at the Rock, it will always be available to them. Yes, this is a clean-shaven future we look toward, a clean-shaven future brought to us on the knees of the hirsute.

The combo begins with Lannisport. You win an intrigue challenge. You shear your opponent's beard. Your maester saves it from being committed to the annals of history. You discover your scissors again in Lannisport. You win another intrigue challenge and shave what little remains on his chin to blood. And then you do it again. You enter the vortex.

There is also some pillage and forced draw and whatever if that's not enough.

A Conclave variant is also possible. While you lose the consistency of opening Casterly Rock, you gain consistency in finding the other pieces and run an even smaller curve.

It's also amusing to enter the Treachery vortex against Wall Night's Watch until they figure out that maybe they should offer the maesters some tasty milk.
