This is the list that I took to the Indianapolis Regional on 8/25. I've been taking this deck through variuous iterations for the past several months and a few people asked me after the event what I was running, so I figured that I would post it.

We only had 16 players, so we ended up only doing 4 rounds with a cut to Top 8.

Although I lost in the first round of the cut, I had a decent run and was only beaten by a finalist deck piloted by a great opponent.

The previous iterations of this deck used Littlefinger's Meddling instead of The Annals of Castle Black, but Annals is a better fit for Meereen I think.

The morning of the tournament I made a few changes to the plot deck that ended up being key throughout the day:

Swap #1: Close Call -> Valar Morghulis.

A few iterations of this deck ago Valar M was in it, but it seemed indispensable in testing with the tendancy of Stark and Tyrell to go wide. Close call seemed less necessary even with key characters because of the ability to use Fire and Blood early and then potentially again later with The Annals of Castle Black.

Swap #2: Confiscation -> Weapons at the Door.

With the prevalence of Stark and Trading With Qohor (and both of them together with Stark Qohor) in the meta right now this seemed like a good play. Good initiative sealed the deal. Fortunately / unfortunately I didn't run up against any Qohor decks, but this was very helpful against Frozen Solid specifically.

Swap #3: 2nd copy of Marched to the Wall -> You Win Or You Die.

Traded a pressure plot for a different kind of pressure. This deck usually ends up with 2 or 3 cards in hand by plot 2 or 3 anyways, and with all of Annals, Isle of Ravens, and Meereen in the deck, going bankrupt in your hand isn't the worst, and Counting Coppers the next turn can refill. Part of the issue with Targ burn seems to be that people don't want to defend sometimes, so a 2 claim plot is a nice way to give them some incentive to defend and git burnt.

Round 1: Bye

Poor Bye. Always coming to tournaments and never getting proper credit.

Round 2: Marc C, playing Tyrell Wars.

Marc started off after marshaling P1 with a duped Marge, a lord, and left/right. Yeesh. Fortunately, some burn and military claim resulted in a Renly on the board as well. Valar D resulted in Marge going away and Renly staying out. Valar M the next round cleared the board and Second Sons and Flea Bottom was able to push things to the end for a very close game.

Round 3: Matthew K, playing Stark Wars.

Matt is from my meta, we drove down from Chicago together, and he was the one who I worked through the justifications for the plot deck changes with. So, needless to say we knew each other's decks very well.

A T1 Crown of Gold on his Catelyn Stark (Core) helped this matchup a lot, and he never saw his Winterfell. Although he hurt me a great deal with Winter Is Coming and Arya Stark (TFM) I was able to kill Robb Stark (Core) and other important characters with Valar M. His lack of a reset beyond Valar D hurt him hard as I flooded the board with low cost characters after my own reset and was able to close the game with a Plot 9 Annals with something like 12 gold with 2 ADINS, all 3 Dracs and a consuming flames in the discard with Daenerys Targaryen (TFM) on the board.

Isle of Ravens and Meereen were key cards in this matchup, as he had his own flea bottom and hit mine with a FroSo. I was able to keep sending any flea bottom target of his into his deck and used Meereen many times in the marshaling phase to dig deeper for key cards like Missandei and Viserys Targaryen (Core).

Round 4: Josh R, playing Stark Crossing.

I had heard tales of Josh's deck from some Meta mates and its Plot 2 closers in at least one game.

T1 for him saw a Sansa Stark (WotN), Septa Mordane, and Dacey Mormont with a Winterfell Steward and a Tumblestone Knight I think running over me hard with a I Am No One on Sansa and a Relentless Assault and Superior Claim for something like 11 power in one go.

My side had a Dany and some other chuds, but I had two ADINS in hand to help out. I used one of them on a military challenge to kill off the Steward and the Tumbleknight P1. P2 I hit Blood of the Dragon and went first, whereupon I was able to use ADINS as first challenge action to drop Septa to 0, and pinged Sansa with Dany, which resulted in Septa, Sansa, and Dacey all dying in one fell swoop. Military claim cleared his board and it was pretty downhill for him from there.

Top8: Marc C, again on Tyrell Wars part 2.

Marc picked up a duped Marge again from T1, and had the bouncing septons and the Wonder Twins. Marc had my number this game though, so I was not able to pull of a repeat performance of our swiss matchup. A Mace Tyrell (HoT) later in the game and some very careful plays on Marc's part gave him a much deserved win. He eventually went on to play in the final match.

Though it was small, it was a good tourney. There are plenty of other things I would like to try with the deck, and I don't think people have heard the last from Targ Burn despite not seeing it as often anymore.
