I placed 2nd in a store tournament in Argentina with this deck. The desing is kind of made up, with many 1 off for specific situations. The deck is simply based around gaining passive power and defending The Wall (Core).

Card choices

  1. Coldhands is a very efficient removal.
  2. Sansa Stark (Core) has -the mostly absent in NW- symbol and she nets one power almost every turn. That makes 3 with The Wall (Core)
  3. Ser Alliser Thorne is cheap for 4 gold, and can help defend in 2 challenges, both and
  4. Craven is simply OP and made me win many games.
  5. Last Hearth Scouts is one of the best banner cards. Almost shuts down Assault from the Shadows decks.

Future chances

  1. Jon Snow (WotN) was absent from almost all matches. He is going out.
  2. The Shadow Tower is useless as a 2-of.
  3. Thoren Smallwood was just as good as to not consider taking him out. He might be out in the future.

Matches

Win Vs Assault from the Shadows

Opening match against what I considered one of the best players of the tournament. He is a Tyrell loyalist who plays very well. I Craven his Renly Baratheon (FFH) and milked his The Queen of Thorns (TMoW) and his Randyll Tarly. He saw no economy all game and I Valar Morghulis his 3 main characters. He was very close to winning with many Scheming Septon shenanigangs.

Lost vs Fealty

He Meera Reed my Maester Aemon (Core) on turn 1 claiming one char on . I saw few characters after and he snowedball me from there. He did not made any mistakes and won rightfully. Any leads I could take where mitigated by recursion from Summer (Core) and Flea Bottom.

Win vs "The Rains of Castamere"

I Craven his Tyrion Lannister (Core), his Ser Gregor Clegane and his Ser Jaime Lannister (Core). Then I sat on The Wall (Core) and Sansa Stark (Core).

I went to semi finals 3-1

Win vs Fealty

This match was crazy. Both of us were playing hard control & stall decks. My opponent decided to play 2 The Wall (Core) and 1 #Wall (TMOW). He placed is TMOW Wall first, and just stuck with it the whole game. I did not draw mine until very late game. We grinded power for 13 turns until I secured the win with Eddard Stark (Core). Frustrating and long game, but very enjoyable at the end. I had all my uniques valar'ed by the end game.

Lost vs The Lord of the Crossing

Final match. My opponent had a very good opening with non-Ward characters. His Balon Greyjoy (Core) was a pain all game. All in all, is very strong at the moment my opponent played very well all day. GG WP.

Great report @Katoh! An incredibly solid deck, really well piloted. Also, great report. Is good that you could take the time to write it and explain most of your choices in this strange meta of us. Hope it helps to give us more visibility yo the rest of the community!

Congrats on your well deserved second place!

By the way, if you use Coldhands reaction it creates a lasting effect that is not stopped by Milk or Nightmares.

The reaction states when the effect expires, so if he leaves play the removed cards return unless something prevents them from doing so (like a copy in the dead pile).
