The Wicked Goblin 105

This deck wins by playing "The Bear and the Maiden Fair" as many times as possible to control what cards my opponent sees. It also uses the The Tickler and Ser Gregor Clegane to put any good cards into the discard or dead pile, thus taking them off the board as well.

I use Shadowblack Lane and Olenna's Cunning to search out cards needed for the combo and I cycle my events using the Rebuilding plot.

This strategy allowed me to play "The Bear and the Maiden Fair" 5 times in a single rotation of plots which by itself can win a game. When combined with the two previously mentioned characters it is lethal.

This deck recently won a Store Championships (12th March 2016).

Shout out to Markus Wolf for telling me about the cool interaction between "The Bear and the Maiden Fair" and Ser Gregor Clegane.

nice ive been toying around with a version of it my self, good to see it has legs

The Wicked Goblin 105

Cheers @talism one of the things I am looking at changing is the plot selection. My meta was not running Naval Superiority so I got away with 6 of my plots being kingdom or edicts.

I was considering this combo as an opportunity to get a choke deck running in the current card pool (by targetting economy with the The Tickler)Did you consider Treachery to further support such thing?

The Wicked Goblin 105

You definetly could @domse, often when you play "The Bear and the Maiden Fair" there will be a choice between discarding an average non-unique character or a The Kingsroad. In that situation I would bottom the character abd discard the location. It was quite effective at limiting their economy. Treachery would be another good addition for this plan, maybe dropping Tears of Lys you could sqeeze it in.

@The Wicked Goblin``@domseTreachery is loyal though, so you couldn't.

talism 88

Treachery isnt loyal, thats a mistake

talism 88

Treachery isnt loyal, its a mistake in this data base , look at the card

The Wicked Goblin 105

@adriancsnow you could run it, but you would not be able to search for it using Shadowblack Lane as it is not a card.

Cool deck! Im playing the combo out of Lanni, didn't tought about Olenna's Cunning which makes finding the tools way easier. Killed Tyrion and discarded Khal Drogo with Gregor's and Tickler's ability last week, oh the happy days...

The Wicked Goblin 105

Nice one @Cristian14 it is always great to hear the The Tickler and Ser Gregor Clegane doing their thing! @domsementioned using Treachery in the deck which could be great for you as it would be searchable with Shadowblack Lane.

It's really creative!Thank you! How does highgarden work in your deck? Some question Is it so useful that u put 3? Maybe put one or two put to the sword to replace tears of Lys? Do you think Mander is too expensive or using other ways to draw is enough? Why don't u put lanydll , he is really powerful together with Margarey or his weapon.

The Wicked Goblin 105

Cheers @Acudogon, I am glad you like the deck. To be honest I think there is definitely some room for card optimization, I put this deck together 3 days before the event as I wanted to play something different.

I chose The Knight of Flowers over Randyll Tarly purely because he cost 5 instead of 6 and I was trying to keep my character costs down. If I had have run Growing Strong or Heartsbane, Randyll Tarly would have been an auto include.

Highgarden can help you win challenges where you do not have enough strength in an Icon and can help prevent card effects like Put to the Sword from triggering. Lastly I think that The Mander is a great card but once again because of its cost and my existing location choice I did not have the room. I found between Pleasure Barge and Shadowblack Lane I had all the card draw i needed.
