Brutal deck. Got 2nd place at the Air Traffic BotT tournament. Lost in the final match to Bara Wolf when I got hit with a first turn Last Hearth Scouts (FATALITY!) and a well timed In the Name of Your King! (BRUTALITY!)

Hardest match up has been Tyrell Summer. You really need to get your board wipe in early against that deck and time your Marched to the Wall well.

Otherwise it seems most decks struggle to keep up with the heavy handed first few turn board wipes your jumping cards put out. Most games I've played involve you wiping out your opponent's board every round.

You want to see a 7 cost + chud set up or a Harrenhal set up (if Harenahl, do not care if you only put out 1 character with it. Remember: everyone is disposable in this deck. EVEN TYWIN!). You'll want to open with Famine, FSoW or Unexpected Delay. Depends what your opponent sets up. Festival is for playing Harrenhal/Late game power grab. Counting Coppers is rarely played if ever in a match. Use it if your opponent is putting up a fight and you're on plot 4 or 5 OR if you need that PttS you haven't seen yet. Unexpected Delay is nasty since (unless you 7/1 set up) you should have no one of real value sitting on your side at the beginning of challenges. This plot is essentially a claim 2 and aids you in your board wiping. Room will need to be made when Valar is released.

Tyrion can be the linch pin, easily raising the claim to 3. Timmet can also be DEVASTATING to your opponent's board. Don't be afraid to kill your own mains with Harrenhal. As long as you're board wiping, you'll be fine. Cersei and Chella are your dark horses. Board wiping your opponent followed by a claim 3 int can end the game (claim 4 if you got tyrion and the clansmen location out). Chella is usually set up with Harrenhal or jumped in and gone. HOWEVER, if you manage to keep her out, she racks up those ear tokens almost immediately. One more character to keep in mind is Ser Amory. He "always" has renown. Pycelle is my flex slot right now. Considering making him Shae to get that extra challenge in. Lancel is the odd duckling. He may seem like garbage but he will save your ass when it comes to those marshaling phase treacherys and can easily be with one lord/lady sometimes.

Tip: Harrenhal your x2 or x1 of characters, Hear Me Roar your x3 of characters if you can help it. Also, the Hound loves staying (short term) at Harrenhal.

Enjoy pissing your opponent's off and enjoy being pissed when they marshal Last Hearth Scouts. Happy hunting!

if tyrion is milked how is this deck working?has any problem?

cooleo1c 147

Not really. 90% of the time I jump tyrion in with harrenhal or hear me roar (preferred). You just need that one claim raise for the wipe. I've only marshaled Tyrion maybe only once in over a dozen games. No one character is important enough to stick around. This deck is about cheating the marshaling phase and high claim.

Oh and BAMF too

Is no one playing Vengeance for Elia these days? :)

Dakki6 1

@NikolaPthats why you need x3 hands in deck :) mogao bih da probam ovu varijantu, ona moja je klimava.

I guess this deck can be devastating for enemy but also for you too. you need to be lucky in setup. cuz if you open with famine and dont have Tywin or economy you will block yourself, plus will lose tons of card because of 3 reserve.

Thoughts on how to deal with Core Cat, Bran, Hearthstone Scouts and Winterfell?

cooleo1c 147

Unexpected Delay helps keep you in the game against the Scouts. Winter plots get around winterfel. Core cat cannot normally stop any mil challenge tricks you have. Bran can be a problem that treachery can solve.

If scouts is out, you have a huge uphill battle ahead...

@cooleo1c I tested it few times. although famine is pretty severe you reaaally need good setup. All in all it is good very agressive, but I feel kinda uncomfortable, and dont have 100% trust in it. I think that one pentoshi would help alot :)

i played a few games with this today and it is just brutal. A+

cooleo1c 147

@Dakki6 pentoshi is counter to what the deck does. Don't want to let your opponent breathe. Even for 1 round. I haven't had a bad set up in about 25 games. Usually all you need is harrenhal or a main. Jumping does the heavy lifting

@psuczynsGlad to hear it. I've made a couple changes for the better. Took out the clansmen locations for nightmares x2 and Pycelle for x1 Dissension. Really happy with the changes

psuczyns 67

those changes seem really solid. i wasn't able to use the clansman location too much and i was worried about how i would deal with last hearth scouts so i was thinking about putting nightmares in somewhere, so taking out those locations sounds good to me

Great minds think alike. Dissension has been a nice PTTS for allies. Just one more claim.

What plot will be taken out for valar? Why no tower of the hand? Anyways, nice decklist and well done!

I've been testing with this deck a lot, and its fun but kind of boom or bust. Going down to 3 cards first turn after Famine is tough. Your round 1 really has to be explosive otherwise it's difficult to claw back in my experience. Martel can really own this deck, between Condemned, Nymeria Sand, and Vengeance for Elia.

psuczyns 67

so what are you planning on taking out of the plot deck to make room for valar? at first glance it seems unexpected delay is the best option imo

Had trouble with this against Stark Fealty. Got whooped a few times. Fealty+Pentoshi+Noble Cause, etc allowed them to get a lot of characters in play.

It is fun deck however not against other Winter agenda. Your gold income is then nothing. I played it vs NW Winter and we both literally didn't have any gold, however NW had some cheaper characters, White tree and my Harrenhall arrived like in 4th round. I felt Unexpected delay as a weakness as it comes to effect only after Challenges begin. There's a room for opponent to play some attachment.
