Rules FAQ

  • Old Hawk's constant ability works even if an opponent has a Summer plot card revealed.

  • The STR is checked at the K step of the D.U.C.K. sequence. If a character's STR is increased to 6 or higher before the K step (for instance, Trading With Qohor bringing in a War Scorpion), that character will be able to gain power for renown. Same if a character's STR is increased to 6 or higher while processing another keyword and renown has not been processed yet (it cannot be processed unless there is a character with renown present). But of course a character can also lose renown if its STR is reduced to 5 or lower in a similar way before or during the K step of the D.U.C.K. sequence.

  • If you have a Summer plot card revealed and you trigger "The Rains of Castamere" to replace it, the characters will lose renown before you get to keywords. On the other hand, the upcoming Nymeria of Ny Sar works in the opposite way.
