Trying to get a Direwolves deck going. Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated.

Good question. Only Robb has Renown so it wouldn't bother me as much as my opponent?? So yeah, the Plots need some work. ;) |
I would definitely take Last Hearth over the Wolfswood. I think Beyond Reproach is unnecessary when you already have Confiscation and 5 attachments of your own. Maybe Time of Plenty could be a temporary replacement for Your King Commands It? With all the kill at your disposal as well as the frequency of resets, I wonder if Ghosts of Harrenhal could be a nice anti-reset wildcard? I think running both LSF and Trading might be a little overkill. You definitely need more high initiative plots because you wanna go first to push your mil challenges and Intimidate. If you can find space for a 2-claim plot, that would be cool too. Jumbled thoughts, I'm sorry for that, but hopefully they can help you experiment in the right direction until you find a plot line you're more comfortable with. |
Played a couple of games last night and made some tweaks. |
How did it work with your changes? |
They made the deck better, and I even made a few more tweaks, but it still needs some more work. Right now, it can't last against Targ burn, at all. And any icon removal is super annoying. You also want all of your Wolves out but at the same time you have to watch for the reset and it's hard to recover after that if you've put too much on the board. With little to no renown, it's just not fast enough. Some Milks and/or Hand's Judgements would probably help out. |
Why Your King Commands It when you have no King or Queen, or even The Wolf King?
