  • A character enters play if it is marshaled, ambushed, brought out of shadows, put into play by a card ability, or when an effect that removed it from the game expires. If the card was already in play (for instance, as a facedown attachment in A Mummer's Farce deck), it is not considered to have entered play when you marshal it.
