Rules FAQ

  • The reaction is triggered immediately after defenders are declared (or, in this case, not declared), before the action window opens.

  • If defenders are declared but do not contribute any STR to the challenge (due to Balon Greyjoy (Core), for example), you cannot trigger Left-Hand Lucas Codd. You also cannot retroactively trigger his reaction when defenders are removed from the challenge (by Shrewd Diplomat, for example).
