Rules FAQ

  • The ability basically means that every character will be at their printed STR while Striking at Dawn is revealed. Modifiers that increase or reduce STR do not apply, and modifiers that set a character's STR to a particular value cannot set it to a different value either.

  • Characters with printed STR X will have STR 0. That includes Dacey Mormont, since defining X as something other than 0 is considered to be increasing her STR.

  • Striking at Dawn does not prevent effects that increase or reduce a character's STR from expiring.

  • A character that is immune to plot effects can still have its STR increased or reduced.
