You own the cards that were in your deck when the game started. If attached character switches control, you still keep control of the attachment, so it will continue to be legally attached.

The reaction is optional. You do not need to remind the opponent to trigger it.

In a Melee game, you can trigger the reaction even if you win against a different opponent than the one who controls attached character.

If attached character is participating in a challenge when it switches control, it is immediately removed from the challenge. This does not make the challenge unopposed if it was the only defending character.

You cannot trigger the reaction if Rationing or The King in the North are revealed.

If multiple "take control" effects are used on the same character, the most recent one prevails.

If Dubious Loyalties leaves play, the current controller keeps control of attached character.
