Rules FAQ

  • The ability affects hand size comparisons like Grey Worm (JS) or Ser Barristan Selmy (LoCR). If you are considered to have 0 cards in your hand as a result of the ability, you are also considered to have no cards in hand for the purposes of cards like Ibbenese Whaler or Tommen Baratheon.

  • A quantity cannot be reduced so that it functions with a value below 0. If the number of cards you are considered to have in your hand is a negative number, it is treated as 0.

  • If you have multiple copies of the Galleas in play, their effects are cumulative.

  • The ability allows you to keep an additional card for reserve, and to draw an additional card for Siege Preparations.

  • If you physically have cards in your hand but are considered to have 0, card abilities and framework effects still interact with those cards. In other words, claim still happens, Heads on Spikes still resolves, Seen In Flames can still be played, etc.
