Rules FAQ

  • Triggering the reaction may cause another character to be attacking or defending alone for the purposes of triggering card abilities (for instance, Lady Sansa's Rose).

  • You can remove attached character from the challenge even if it is already standing, or if it cannot stand for some reason (for instance, due to Delena Florent).

  • Removing the only attacking or defending character will not change the challenge resolution in any way. The winner of the challenge has already been determined at that point.

  • The character is removed from the challenge in the D step of the D.U.C.K. sequence, which means it will no longer be participating once you get to the keywords step. Note that the assault keyword is an exception to this, since any location targeted by assault is knelt even before reactions to winning the challenge could be triggered.
