The Prince's Plan and "Off To Gulltown" are 2 cards that are most important to see. I had used them both to give icons and strength to my opponents' characters, ensuring whoever is attacking them would not close the game. It helps to make friends and allies too. I find it often that players would go for a huge swing against an opponent with a weaker board, in hopes to close. There is only one winning condition and it is to trigger Doran's Game, usually during a Fortified Position turn. This ensures that my opponents would not be able to pull off any triggers or renown. During my first match, I had sensed that my opponent was going to use either Wildfire Assault or Valar Morghulis to trigger off his Catelyn Stark (WotN) and win during the plot phase. With Fortified Position, that sure did not happen! If I were to take this deck to Melee again, there may be some changes I would make. Such as replacing Words Are Wind for the good old The Hand's Judgment and to find space for the newer maesters, Nefarious Acolyte and Lazy Leo. |
Amazing win for conclave! I can’t belive I’m only just seeing this... Could you write some pointers on how to play this deck? This seems super cool!
