I've been testing Skagos for the past three days, and here's my report:

1) Skagos has universally useful synergy with Flea Bottom and Ward (can reattach Ward from a kneeling char to a standing char, also change of control removes a character from the challenge);

2) Skagos is very useful in matchups against Martell (icon-stripping), Night's Watch (Craven), and anyone who runs Milk or Nightmares. This advantage is dependent on the meta, can be a big factor, or you might never get the opportunity to use it this way;

3) Skagos seems to have strong synergy with Winterfell Crypt and As Hard As Winter, but this is a trap - Crypt works just as fine with Wyman eating Hodor or Sansa, while AHAW requires some building around and preparation, and the opportunity cost doesn't seem to be worth the effect. I set up conditions, pay 1 to get Fast Ed or Blackfish out, say yay! - and the next round he gets Valar-ed. I could've used that time in a more efficient manner.

4) If you're running Skagos, you probably want to run Isle of Ravens as well, to make sure you don't run out of copies. Or you could be running something universally efficient in their place.

Overall, in the fast Stark/Targ meta I think it's not very optimal to run Skagos, but if the meta shifts towards soft-control (e.g. Martell / NW), then it might be efficient enough to warrant deck slots. Just don't build around Skagos, it doesn't seem to be worth it.

P.S. As Hard As Winter is a trap card, it's not worth the opportunity cost, better to replace it with Winter Is Coming or I Am No One.
