I present to you one of the most fresh decks that you could pick up with the core card pool.

The main goal is to maximize the efficiency of Euron Crow's Eye and the Pillage ability.

  • Before you land the keyword, in the action window after they declare defenders (and you see that you will win the challenge), you play "The Bear and the Maiden Fair" so you look 5 cards into their decks and put a location on top. Then, when you pillage with Euron, you put that location into play. The great thing here is that you can return a location under your control that you have previously pillaged. That means that even if you put into play Euron relatively late, if you have Pillaged successfully with the Bear before - you are getting that honey!

  • Currently there aren't many cards with Pillage, but as the card pool advances, I believe this idea will find further implications.

  • "The Bear and the Maiden Fair!" on its own is a great card too. Don't be afraid to use it action window in the Plot phase, so you can control the 2 card draw of your opponent. It's a pretty strong effect to dig 5 cards deep and chose instead of him, which 2 he should get this turn.

  • Tyrell are also a naturally good banner for Greyjoy, because they provide much needed intrigue icons.

  • Note: If you feel the need of attachments go 2-3 chars bellow and get some Milk of the Poppy or Throwing axe

Plots

  • General greyjoy goodness + other standard "must haves" ( confiscation and march to the wall). I'd only consider Summons on the place of Wildfire or Heads on Spikes, but as someone pointed out on reddit, "Wildfire is one of those things, which you either have and are meh about using them, or you don't have and you really regret it. I prefer the first." If you have a hard time getting your Euron though( and the general lack of draw in Greyjoy), might be worth considering.

Just don't forget to sing to your opponent each time you steal his location.

"And off they went, from here to there, The bear, the bear, and the maiden fair."
