Took 3rd in Swiss (and after the cut), at a 23 person Montreal SC. Lost to an expertly played Lanni/Rose mirror - once in the swiss, and once again in the cut. The list is basically lifted wholesale from Aaron’s Red Saturday Lanni/Rose, then worked on (6 changes?) after testing against him, Raul, and Francis C. I figured since my vote allowed him to play Lanni/Rose instead of Lanni/Watch, I’d be OK playing it :P.

Thoroughly enjoyed playing the deck. MVP was probably TIDFL.

R1 (W): Greyjoy Fealty, whose duped Balon ate a Marched T2 after a TIDFL and Tears put pressure on the board.

R2 (W): A Lanni/Rose mirror, but some superiority in card quality and initiative control turned into a bit of decision paralysis from my opponent, who was often playing first and almost forced to initiate few challenges.

R3 (L): Lanni/Rose mirror. He saw the economy (and Tywin early), and I did not. While I made a go of it, and reached 12 power, it was not particularly close - my opponent was piloting expertly to avoid anything happening to his Tywin and risking his advantage. Some very interesting Seal-of-the-Hand/Margaery challenge math, though! He went on to win, and his decklist can be found here: http://thronesdb.com/decklist/view/1741/s-t-gold-pump-and-swing-winner-at-bd-cosmos-montreal-sc-1.0

R4 (W): A Bara Fealty match, where he didn’t see Melisandre. An early PttS on Robert gave me the room to win power challenges and shut off The Red Keep, despite a rather pesky Stannis, and Seal of the Hand mostly kept me from losing out to Painted Table/Stannis pressure.

R5 (W): Lanni Fealty. A T1 TIDFL turned his T1 Game of Thrones against him, and Widow’s Wail pushed Jaime through the Hound, allowing for a harsh T2 Marched. He never drew back into a mil icon he could use, and Jaime ran away with the game.

Top4 (L): Lanni/Rose rematch; he set up Tywin. A turn later, I get him Too (and seal him the next turn), but serious renown pressure leaves me scrambling to try and get a PttS off, and opponent’s careful play gives me very little room to breathe - on top of my own fear of a PttS.
