Took this deck to The Blackstone Owl SC in Los Angeles last weekend (2/13/16). It finished 3-0 in swiss (top seed) and then lost the 1st game after the cut to a Greyjoy/Lion deck that setup fast, had a wonderfully timed PttS, and closed the game out by turn 3. Going into the day, Greyjoy was the matchup I feared the most, as it seemed to give me the most difficulty in testing. I feel the deck has a few ways it can win, which can make it very hard for opponents to plan against. The swiss matchups I faced were Targ/Lion, Tyrell/Lion, & Lanni/Rose.

Varys was definitely the MVP of the deck that day. I triggered him all 3 rounds of swiss and also had him on the board in my first game after the cut, but sadly he was PttS. If not for some well-timed Varys triggers, I probably end up going 1-2 or 0-3 on the day. Nymeria was a close second though, as she allowed me to stall a game (post-Varys) just long enough to eek out a win against Lanni/Rose.

Overall, I felt the deck performed great. It showed the ability to come from behind when needed, as well as really apply pressure when ahead.

I am ALWAYS looking for feedback and would love any input on improving the deck.

Any reason not to swap the Braided Warrior with a House Dayne Knight? I'd say the extra icon is easily worth the lower strength.

@Dasaxman Completely agree. Since the tournament I actually ended up adding 2x House Dayne Knights and cutting 1x Desert Scavenger and 1x Braided Warrior to make room for them. Definitely like the added icon spread.
