1st place in a 34 player tournament at Tulsa, OK at Team Covenant. GJ Fealty almost builds itself so event and plot choices here are what might differentiate the deck a little.
The basic strategy is pretty straightforward, usually opening with Calm to mitigate damage until you can build a solid board then either going to town or slowing the game down until you can get enough characters and locations on the board to rush in for the win with Clash of Kings.

What do you do when asha and or balon get milked? |
The lack of attachment control was a bit of a meta call but also deliberate. I dislike including cards in the deck that are only good in select games.. so I would be counting on my opponent to run Milk or Seal basically in order for those cards to be worth running. I only had one game where milk was actually an issue and ended up winning the game anyway with the help of Great Kraken giving Balon stealth. I wanted to focus more on cards that would always be the most effective in each game and not just part of the time. With that being said I can certainly see an argument for swapping out the 2nd calling the banners for a copy of Confiscation. I can think of two games out of 6 where it would have been useful in the tournament. |
Sorry, 2 games out of 7. |
Were attachments never a concern for you? Just strange to see no Confiscation, We Do Not Sow, or even Rattleshirt's Raiders to help out with those.
