First time playing in organized game. There were 16 participants. Beat Lannister/Crossing(Bamf)to get to finals. There I beat Lannister/Rose. Some takeaways, Seal of the Hand was never played, even when I could afford it. Using We do not Sow in two separate games to take out a Kingsroad and a reducer helped so much more then it would sound. Rattleshirt raiders were key to my victory over Targ/Fealty when Asha got crowned with a Risen from sea on her. I've been playing Greyjoy from the start. My only advice to others, make sure you know what Greyjoy locations do! Noticed a lot of opponents overlooked my locations and cost them.

I do have some difficulties with playing put to the sword, it's just too good to take out. I'll hold back gold intentionally without even having it because your opponent will always think you have it when you have two extra gold. New plot Ranger Cache will be great for Greyjoy. I have never had any luck with throwing axe. Haven't played that in quite some time. Now maybe when you can ambush it in, then I will reconsider. I will play at least two Drowned Gods. Alanys and 1 Naviagtor off the top of my head is what I will take out. Could even cut the reader back to 1. Will have to test out some builds. Many will say take out the raiders, but I like them too much. |
Congratulations on the win! My deck is very similar with just a few changes.
Do you have any problems having the gold to play Put to the Sword? I replaced them with Throwing Axes because I'd rather be able to spend the money on characters instead of having to save it.
Do you think there is a place for the Priest of the Drowned God when they are released?
