Went 3-1-1 at Spring Box kit event in Schaumburg, IL. Went 3-0-1 in Swiss and lost first round of elimination.

Game 1 - Greyjoy Crossing- I had heavy military early, using my 2 claim plots + Ice/ Winter is Coming for 6 claim in the first two turns. Lady/Seal and Arya prevented unopposed. Attachments, especially Lady, were key in preventing Raiding Longship from wrecking me.

Game 2 - Stark/Lion - Had a fun play turn one with Ice/Arya's gift to swap Ice out and kill Jaime Lannister (Neds rejoice!). Hit with both 2 claim plots early, plus both ice and a Winter (7 total claim, 2 targeted). Opponent couldn't recover.

Game 3 - Greyjoy Fealty - Standard scary Greyjoy Fealty. Opponent never saw Balon or Euron (not sure if he was running Euron), and despite winning dominance to keep getting chuds (and slowing down my econ!), my deck ramped up power quite quickly once Eddard + Seal started to work.

Game 4 - Lannister Crossing - Drew in the last round of swiss to ensure we both made the cut. Played after the tournament and was soundly crushed by Gregor Clegane. I managed to Ice Tywin turn 1 and was still beaten.

End of Swiss - Top 4 are Stark Fealty, Lanni Crossing, Greyjoy Fealty, Stark Fealty. I matchup against a Stark deck very different from mine.

Game 5 - Opponent easily Ices Blackfish turn 1, and my summons only turns up a Tumblestone Knight. He beats me easily. His deck was very cool, based around Robb, Greywind and Wolves of the North. Greywind + Robb was enough for me, as he was able to push in big challanges and eat his own chuds to stand the board.

Overall, I liked my deck and the way it played. I got a little unlucky in my loss, but I also made a misplay and should have gone second with my Sneak Attack to protect my position against a deck i knew was very kill heavy.

The meta was fairly lite on events, and I don't think I played a Hand's Judgement all day. Not as many Targ and Lion decks, so a few less event to cancel. Eddard + Seal is everything you imagine it to be, and you can go from 0-3 power turn 3 to 15 on turn 5, once you get Eddard and another renown character going.

Sadly I did not see King Robb's Host all day. I think the card is great, but I will likely take it out. Based on usefulness I think a third Arya and a second Osha may be warranted. Maybe even a third Jory as he protects from Ice as well as Tears/PttS (also Jory can sacrifice when he is chosen for claim, so you put him in your discard instead of dead pile. Essentially making him very chud-like). Still split on which Sansa I want. Love WotN Sansa but old Sansa is a power machine.

Anyway, thanks for reading. In the game of thrones, you read or you die.

Nice, something a bit different than just throwing in Fast Eddie / Blackfish in the old builds. Apart from the dire wolf builds, I am not seeing a lot of people try the new Cat. This is what I am trying to do with new Cat:

I am seriously thinking of making room again for 1 Lady, 1 HJ, probably need Summons as a plot too and perhaps adding a core Cat. The easiest change is probably to just go core Cat, but that would be what everyone else is doing and I want to at least explore new Cat's potential a bit more...

Can you get and post the decklist of the other stark fealty... That would be great!

I don't have a copy of his decklist, but if I can get in touch and get a copy I'll let you know. I'd love to see exactly what it was myself.
