Time to start preparing some decks - Greyjoy being my faction of choice lately - slightly forced upon me by a good placing in a store championship last year!

Struggled lately due to some insane bomb characters ruining my day, not to mention the new Stark deluxe set making me encounter Robb Stark more often along with Winterfell.

So let's change style and go for a full Winter style Greyjoy deck as previously I didn't use Fishwhiskers or any of the Winter related plots. I want to try and gain the initiative as much as I can with all my Scouts and Longships and be able to save my characters on a regular basis with the use of Risen and Iron Mines. The prospect of getting a huge card setup with the cheap locations is all so enticing.

I've tried to get a decent balance of the icons, but of course I'm sure there's problems, so feel to make some constructive suggestions! I wish I could fit 3 Poppies to deal with those annoying bomb characters but sadly space is constrained with Greyjoy decks.

I think you will have a hard time paying for all those 5-7 cost characters with winter-plots. If you would change 1 or 2 plots for calling and/or noble perhaps even trading you will be able to get a much better boardstate and not having to rely on finding those kingsroads. Otherwise it looks interesting.

I am tempted to remove the Euron's to bring my cost curve down a bit. My issue with Noble is that the 0 Init usually means I lose out on first player, though Calling the Banners tends to work better for me with its reasonable initiative.

Thinking perhaps:

-2 Euron -1 Aeron -2 House Maester -2 Kraken's Grasp +3 Wildling Scout +2 Little Bird +2 Put To The Sword
