This is a Stark aggro deck that was derived from a Blackfish Voltron deck that I took to my Wolves of the North Release event. It came 4th in a 41 person regional, beating Martell Crossing, Greyjoy Crossing, Stark Fealty, Greyjoy Fealty in the swiss and another Stark Fealty in the cut losing to Lanny-Kraken in the swiss and a weird Martell-Rose in the cut.

I play this deck incredibly defensively. You want to keep characters alive, your hand full, and your opponent's power total low. Once you have achieved those (or if you have spare cards), you can then start chipping away at your opponent's board and hand. However, don't be afraid to do trades; if you'll lose a steward to military claim, but will be able to push through a mil claim that can kill something more valuable, do so! Often times, I end up using The Long Winter to slow my opponent down by a power or two. Losing a power doesn't matter as much if your opponent is hurting too!

This deck's weakest matchup is probably Martell. Winter is Coming is your only event, and it really does not play nice with Vengeance for Elia. The loss against Martell-Rose in the cut was mostly due to Knight of Flowers. I went 40 cards deep into my deck without finding Ned, Lady or Robb, and I probably should have mulliganed. Also, I misplayed my last turn. Them's the breaks.

If you'd been on here in the past week you'd have seen that Martell-Rose deck ^^
