This deck went 3-0 in a 9-man Spring Kit beating Targ/Fealty, Night's Watch/Fealty, and Lannister/Rose.

Game 1: Ser Ilyn Payne kept the baby dragons off the table, Tyene fell to a Dracarys!, Nymeria Sand stealing Mirri's Int icon and then getting poisoned. Plot 3 Noble Cause allowed me to get Ser Gregor on the board and between Gregor, Payne, and Nymeria controlled the board. Game went to plot 7, but the game was essentially over by plot 4.

Game 2: I open with a Long Plan after setting up a pair of Palace Spearman and Roseroad, and marshall Tyrion, my opponent plays a lot of small guys, and on Plot 2: First Snow puts me in the driver's seat with a good amount of gold to marshal Ser Jaime, one-sided board wipe on challenges phase and my opponent never recovers.

Game 3: Key points in the game: Hand's Judgement stopping Nymeria from being poisoned by Tears of Lys, Cersei's int challenge being reversed by Vengeance for Elia then getting Marched to the Wall on the following round, 3 power Jaime getting Put to the Sword allowing me enough breathing room to eventually win.

Nymeria stealing icons creates great windows of opportunity, allowing stronger Military challenges through for PttS, or removing Int icons for Tears/Tyene.

Vengeance of Elia being able to use your opponent's challenge as your claim, in addition to your own claim can really put you ahead.

The mixture of PttS, Tears, Vengeance, Tyene, Payne, and Gregor puts further and further ahead.

Tyrion fuels your attack package making them always a threat.

Changes I would make after playing:

-2 Arianne: There's not enough characters you'd want to jump in for her ability to be useful. She would sit sit in my hand taking up space.

+2 Bastard Daughter: Helps with Setup and gets good value with Nymeria, or if killed.

-1 Calling the Banners: With so much kill, there were very few characters on the board at any time post plot 2.

+1 Confiscation: I'm not running any Rattleshirt Raiders, so the second Milk can really dampen the deck.

Important Notes:

-Don't be afraid to setup Greenblood Traders, First Snow gets the value back from them.

-Every game had the same opening - The Long Plan into First Snow. This clears out any chuds, with the Long Plan getting you gold to use during the First Snow.

Is that really money lender? Or should it be merchant?

BlueSapphyre 131

@Bungo_Underhill it's money lender. I want real cash money, not just a lannister reducer. Plus it has an int icon for tyene and tears.

Great looking deck, very similar to one I want to put together. Couple of questions though. -With attained being non terminal, are 3 of them needed? I was thinking 2x -Would you consider adding milk or treachery? -Can you sell me on the palace spearman?

@AcePrositterHere's an updated list that I took to Regionals. thronesdb.com

I agree on Attained, I went down to 1x, and it was fine at that count. Nymeria normally handles the brunt of icon stripping for you. As you can see in my update, Milks are definitely needed. Helps the mirror match a ton.

Palace Spearman is the best 4 drop in the game, imo. The no attachments clause really helps a ton from Ward, Imprisoned, etc. And you almost always go second, so a 4 str tricon for 4 is ridiculous value.
