The newest version of my deck. This is the first deck I've ever made, as I'm relatively new to the game. I'm pretty proud of it, it's a very defensive Night's Watch deck. There is a good deal of icon Removal from Martell including all 3 of their attachments as well as Nymeria Sand and Maester Caleotte. Your goal, of course, is to get the Wall out as fast as possible and then defend it.
If the other player plays only 1 character during setup, you punish with Marched to the Wall the first turn, otherwise you look to build up quickly with Trading with the Pentoshi, Here to Serve, and Building Orders. These should be (in some fashion) the first three you play each game if you don't March to the Wall. After this you are going to go heavily defensive with For the Watch, Calm over Westeros, and A Feast for Crows.
Use Take the Black after someone uses a Wildfire Assault so that you can cripple them and take their strongest characters. Try to always leave two rangers standing for Watcher on the Walls.
Try to save Old Bear's Raven for use only on Old Bear Mormont. The Shadow Tower is heavy punishment for people trying to run The Lord of the Crossing, as you can effectively shut them down every turn with it.
Your economy consists of Kingsroad, Roseroad, Littlefinger, Trading with the Pentoshi, and Steward at the Wall. You should be fine with this for money for the game.
The one weakness to this deck is stealth, but Benjen, Old Bear Mormont, Milk of the Poppy, and Syrio should help with this, as well as general icon removal.
I would recommend:
• Swap out Calm Over Westeros for Fortified Position. Calm isn't great for Wall decks because you still have to defend against unopposed challenges, even with 0 claim. Fortified Position is invaluable against many, many things that would otherwise screw up your defense, like Daenerys, Syrio, Balon, anyone with Stealth/Intimidate, etc. I'd give it a try.
• Lose 1 Old Bear's Raven, and 1 Obara Sand.
