Good start you got here! Here's a bit of input from me: Characters: Bronn I think very dangerous, but if you must play him, 1 is enough. Tyrion and Tywin must be a playset. I see the appeal of Cersei, but 1 or 2 are usually sufficient. 1 Littlefinger is enough, also. Since you're getting gold from Tyrion, you can make good use of 2-3 Burned Men. Joffrey isn't worth the cardboard he's printed on imo. Syrio Forel might be a nice addition, handing out that stealth. Ser Ilyn Payne only once is something to think about, as is the Tickler. Red are fine, but expendable when fighting for card slots. Attachments: Paid Off seems nice, but Widow's Wail is miles better. 1 Should be enough, bringing you down to 61. Locations: card draw is king, but one Lannisport is ok. Replace a copy with Small Council Chamber for more power gain. Events: good selection, but switch the number of Trial with Treachery. Plots: Lannister is notorious for its First Snow of Winter/Marched to the Wall combo. With ambush you'll get the upper hand almost everytime. Heads on Spikes and Clash of Kings aren't worth it in this kind of deck imo. All in all, I like to play 60 card decks and go up to 61 only if absolutely necessary. |
Thank you that's some very good constructive help and gives me somewhere to go and look at as I have been playing the deck a bit and now getting further ideas to improve. Thank you |
man, you have to reduce the costs of the characters otherwise most of the times you won't be able to have a good setup!
