Wanted to try building a Lannister deck that is a little different and takes advantage of some of the fun cards they have that don't always see a lot of play.
Given the high intrigue focus of the deck, the point is keep your opppoent's hand as long as possible to ensure that they're playing on their back foot most of the game. This also benefits The Queen's Assassin as a means of target kill after you've fueld him using Tyrion Lannister. Tears of Lys and Trial by Combat give you further control options for any characters that make it out and you have Wildfire Assault as a means to bring the board state back to Earth if your opponent gets out a lot of characters. You should be able to recover more easily than your opponent after this.
Haven't had a chance to try this out in a competitive setting though.
