This deck isn't mine, I'm just posting it because some people on facebook group asked for this deck. This is deck piloted by Tyrell loyalist, Quas. Creator of this deck is Breaker, which finished FBF in top 4. Three other people played this deck (+- few cards) and all of them finished in top 32. Winner of FBF was playing also this specific deck. I have seen this deck in action on few tournaments piloted by few different players, so if you have any questions, I can try to answer those. However I do not take any contribution neither for creating, nor for piloting this deck.

Thanks for sharing! Few questions: 1-how vengeance performed all day? 2-With no viper eyes or Hand judjment,Do you aver suffer targaryer (dracarys) and lannister(ptts and treachery)? 3-How do you play sneak attack? As an opener to punish bad setup or when you suspect the opponent fsow? 4- The economy seems a little poor...do you have any issues with it?

Huge thanks for sharing!

As a fellow Martell player, I was very interested in seeing the list after its performance in the Swiss.

Needless to say, the numbers and allocation of slots in the deck look very solid with a few minor exceptions (2x Quentyn, but only 1x Areo with First Snow in the plot deck?). That said, it's almost exactly the opposite of what I have in my mind for the Martell faction - whereas I run 3x Condemned, Milk and Nightmares, this deck opts out of ALL of those options, not running even a single copy.

I understand you are not the deck builder, but can you (or he) provide some insight as to why these cards (along with the usual Long Plan/Counting combo) were omitted completely?

Also, and this is a playstyle question that you can most likely answer picollo, when was TRV/Heads/Sneak usually used? I saw Sneak being the opener in most games, but I did not understand what the conditions for revealing it were - is it dependent on you having a good setup, the opponent having a bad one or just a specific combination of cards?

Hopefully you can provide some insight. :)

Fix this, it's not Banner of The Watch ...

@gabsnow18Vengeance is great all of the time. In this deck you usually have ghaston, vengeance or sunspear. this means that your opponent will always be afraid of attacking you.

Dracarys is indeed problem. But you just have to endure this. Usually you won't be able to put VIper into lay. So when Dracarys hits, it hits. Some kind of play around this is to clear enemy hand (intrigue in sneak turn, heads on spikes)

Sneak is opener 24/7 Military or intrigue. Sunspear is awesome setup card because of this. If you can clear table do it, if not, go for enemy's hand. This deck doesn't need huge economy. VIper will probably be removed from this deck (afaik pilot was able to play him once in whole tournament). And this deck is attrition deck. when you lose some chars, your opponent will usually lose bigger chars. play with small guys, have ghaston, sunspear and vengeance, and your enemy will kill himself for you.

@Lord Hakkera I'm not sure why quentyn is played 2x and Areo only 1x. But first snow is important for this deck. You have Arianne, so you aren't hurt by first snow that much. You always can place something from your hand. And first snow helps you with draw, returning greenbod traders back to your hand. In addition to this- with vengeance for Elia and Ghaston you won't suffer on fsow turn.

Speaking of Condemned and Milk- Condemned is considered bad card in our meta- you don't want 9x icon removal attachments. and you prefer other two much more. Milk is kinda similar. 9x nonsetupable attachments isn't something you really want. And Attained and Imprisoned are much more important in this deck. Nightmares are good card, but this deck usually plays 5+ plots. you don't swing game in one play where you absolutely need this one play. So Nightmares have lower impact than usually.

As for long plan/counting- those have too low initiative. you want to be second all of the time. you don't have problems with draw, and you don't need additional gold so Long plan/counting aren't that important.

Red Viper is card that could be removed. It is here, because it is good when you play him. but you don't have economy for this. Heads do two things- clear hand, and they can be used after you ghastoned enemy's bomb. I personally believe those are only ok cards, but author of this deck said it is crucial plot here. Sneak is opener, and you don't open with it only when you have really good reason. you win initiative, you go second, and you wait. Sunspear and vengeance help you with removing your opponent's table, or hand.
