I have been play testing and making changes to refine this deck for weeks and I think it is in a really good state right now in the meta. Let me know what you think!

For the plots I took out Feast for crows, Calling, and Close call, in favor of a second Noble, Confiscation, and Calm of Westeros. As far as the deck, I took out Syrio Forel, Greatjons Vanguard, 1x Jory (Leaving 1), 1x Sansa (Leaving 2), 1x Septa (Leaving 1), 1x Lady, and I scrapped all of those events completely. I added 3x Robb, 1x Greywind, 1x John Snow, 1x Maester Luwin, 1x Rattleshirts, 1x Summer, added a second Syrio's Training, 3x Fear Cuts Deeper Than Swords, and 2x Support of the people Definitely even thinking about adding A Time for Wolves because of the flexibility it gives you for offensive and defensive plays but I cant decide what to replace it with. |
Let me know how Fear Cuts Deeper Than swords goes. My only concern with all of the saves is that Catelyn only gets power when sacrifices and kills actually go through. You'll be very reliant on pulling out Riverrun and The Blackfish. It should still be a good combo though especially with the attachment removal. As far as your other removals, I'm always hesitant to remove Syrio but if he's too expensive for your deck I understand Training over him. Only issue is if there is more attachment removal in the other person's deck. If Martell is big in your meta then it will be interesting and a good choice though. |
I like it a lot. I published a deck I won a tourny with taht has similar themes. I run 2x Jon Snow and 3x Robb. Jon helps with Fat Cat and Robb triggers every time Fat Cat triggers also. If I were to take anything out here it would be two Sansa's. I personally don't love the blackfish but with 3x riverrun and 3x riverrun mistrel in this I'd be interested to see how he works.
