The Iron Captain 13
This is my take on a winter themed Tully rush deck. I took it to my local card night tonight and went 2-1 with it. I lost the first game mostly due to an improper shuffle and bad draw with no characters for the first 2 turns so I had a weak board presence. I'm posting it to try to get some suggestions and pointers. Nobody else in my local meta is playing Kings of Winter yet so I haven't had a chance to see what other people are doing with their plot decks yet. I really like this set up but can see that running 2 winter festivals could go badly against a summer deck. So far the versatility of having 2 different 2 claim plots and Winter is Coming with this icon spread has left me with a lot of options on those turns. Between Ned, River Run, and the Minstrel have made it really easy to get the Blackfish going. Like I said I'm interested in getting some feedback so please feel free to tell me what you think.
This is extremely interesting. I have a Tully power rush deck of my own but it is fealty. Just curious how this deck does against any of the KoS decks. The only reason I havent tried this is because it seems KoS is superior right now versus any KoW deck. I would also argue that you have too much target kill and not enough save especially with only x1 of Jory. I felt as though I needed x3 Bran, x2 Jory, x2 Bodyguards, and x3 Fear Cuts Deeper than Swords (Replaced Winter is coming with this recently) to able to sustain against a lot of decks.
