I took this deck nearly untested to the german nationals (62 players) and was able to get 1st of swiss and the tournament win.

With all the power gain the deck sometimes feels like on drugs as except for 2 games every game was won on plot 3.

The basic idea is, that the top tier decks (Lannister and Martell imo) sacrifice alot of power in the early stages by trying to kill an important character to improve their boardstate. Killing a big guy is usually a big investment in ressources and character strength and as long as you have at least 3 characters, you can make enough power with unopposed and crossing to run away with the game. Therefore Trading is a critical plot to bring 2-3 characters out in the first round and is kinda your only opener. In quite a few games one of my 6-costers got killed in the 1st round, but the deck just stabilizes so well and with crossing even bran and tumblestone knight can push a power challange through.

If needed I can give a more detailed deck description later. Also big shoutout to #Team Galaxy Defenders, the tournament organization and all the awesome opponents!

How Nymeria worked for you? I've tried several times and become not worth it. I'd rather go with 2 lady's instead...and didn't became a problem only running one copy of certain characters?

Which plot you will chose in 1st round ?

@lyharthur Read the description!

@TanatosNymeria is in the deck for 2 reasons: 1) as a renown centered deck you really wanna go 2nd, but your plots don't have high enough initiative to ensure this. Especially against decks with renown themselves you can grab nymeria with time for wolves and be in a win/win situation, bo matter if youre first or second. The double intimidate is really strong when first! 2) Nymeria can be needed for the baratheon matchup if you don't find Robb.

The singletons aren't really a problem, cuz you don't depend on any of your 1-offs.

@lyharthur Yeah I always open with Trading with the pentoshi. I've ran into a couple of Summer Harvest, which gave my opponent a big tempo boost, but didn't stop me from winning.

Nice deck and congrats on your win! Are there any changes you would make going forward? Specifically, would "A Noble Cause" be better to open with than Pentoshi? It is basically 3 less gold for you and your opponent.

I run a Stark fealty deck that has had some pretty good success honestly and I run 3x Fat Cat and 3x Fear cuts deeper than swords over core Cat and Winterfell. I'm actually really curious, how did Winterfell end up working out for you in this tournament?

@YEEZUSI don't have direct improvements for the deck right now. Im still not sure, if Superior Claim is needed or if more locations could be good (I think Winterfell Castle is a good card). I strongly considered Noble Cause instead of Trading with the Pentoshi, but ultimately the headstart you get with the 10 gold opener is really important for this Crossing deck. I felt serously hindered by a 1st turn noble and the "only" 7 gold, cause you want your 6-costers out ASAP but still might need a Cat or Winterfell against a lot of decks. You also want your board to get to at least 5 characters quickly to get your crossing challenges through and at the same time you need to play renown guys. When you want to play around with the plot line, I suggest keeping Trading, 2 Winter Festival and Wardens of the north (Plan A is to play the exact same order of plots and win by round 4) and switching one of the situational plots Confiscation, Time for Wolves or Building Orders. While I think Time for Wolves has the highest power level of the 3, I needed it the least...

`@GIMMETHEL00TFat Cat is definetly a card the intrigues me, I can see a powqerful deck with her (I like her in "CoresetStyle" Decks with Wildfire, Seal and Milks), but I think not playing Winterfell is a mistake. At 1st I didn't like Winterfell, because everyone in our Meta played Lannister Kill with 3-5 Winter Plots. BUT the +1 Str alone is really worth the 4 gold, it's especially good value against Targ to protect the Blackfish from Dracarys. I don't play a board clear in this deck and Winterfell is a big reason why I'm comfortable with that. It's Reaction of course is also tremendously impoprtant in most match ups. Over the tournament I stopped at least 3 Mirri Maz Duur from doing something at all with Winterfell
