Nothing super unique or fancy here. Attempt to get your KoF and Randy out asap while using your chuds to oppose your opponent's return blows (I often had a standing Randy as well).
I'd drop The Mander and a copy of Heartsbane for 2 Knighted, while cutting Littlefinger for another Syrio Forel. Finally, drop the Lady-in-Waiting for a 3rd Paxter Redwyne
Lose the 2 Growing Strongs for 2 Hand's Judgement.
For plots I would swap out Summer Harvest and Counting Coppers for Song of Summer and Vary's Riddle, respectively.
I had a great day meeting and chatting with my various opponents pre & post game. Highlights were Losing to Chris- the eventual champion- and getting to play against Throne Runner!
Looking forward to attending next year's event, hopefully it will remain in Ontario or hop on over to Montreal....no more West coast b.s.
Shout out to my New Brunswick meta m8s for also doing well throughout the tournament; especially Kyle W. and his superb piloting of Bara Fealty.

Hi Gerion Lannister! At the time I was quite concerned with seeing a strong presence of FSoW (so my curve was a little higher)...which I only ended up seeing once all day funny enough. But you are spot-on with your suggestions. I need to give TftK another try, really would have saved me in a few of those games if I had had that flipped. My poor KoF drank so many tears of Lys throughout the day. As for the Superior Claim, I swapped them for the Nightmares..which I have no regrets about doing so. They were crucial for blanking Mirri, Mountain, Great Kraken, Seastone, etc. and really helped me hang in there to secure the win in 2 of my games. Thanks for you interest, cheers! |
Thanks for sharing. :) Personally I'm missing Superior claims, Tourney for the King and Hedge Knights. :) Why didn't you include these cards which are good combo with LSR and Crossing power grab? :)
