When I needed to choose a deck to play at this tournament, I originally wanted to play Lannister. Baratheon is still a good preforming deck and I knew the deck well enough. Just as long as I draw 2 cards from The Red Keep I'll be fine. So after a lot of think and not having played Lannister in a good 2 months, I decided to play comfy Baratheon Fealty. I did play this deck most of the time while I was getting through Lanni-rehab.

Game 1 Tyrell Banner of the Sun - Loss

We both opened with Summons and I was in Control that turn with Ser Barristan Selmy and Melisandre. The second turn I played Confiscation and my opponent played Pulling the Strings Copying my earlier Summons. After my marshaling phase he played his second Gift of Arbor Red and he found a Varys. I didn't have any way to stop it, without duplicants and no new characters in hand, I basicly lost there.

Game 2 Greyjoy The Lord of the Crassing - Win

After set-up, I was a bit nervous because it wasn't the best to open with. Got lucky I gess that neither did he? I was a bit afraid with after refill that I didn't have any new characters, so I played Summons again as opener. After I literally just said outside that that was a mistake last game... but now it was k-okay. I found Robert Baratheon and drew Stannis Baratheon. After I made my opponent Stinking Drunk from Milk of the Poppy, I won 5 unoppossed challenges across 2turns. Giving me a turn 3 win. Yeah, I know bara Turn 3. No way!

Game 3 Lannister Banner of the Wolf - Win

I got matched against someone from my team, so wasn't looking foward to winning or losing. Because either way it meant that one of us wouldn't get to top 8. He had a bad draw because he couldn't get his economy going to play his big dudes. Any way I made him take the knee, after making his Stinking drunk three times.

Game 4 Lannister Banner of the Dragon - Win

Well, I expected a loss here because of my low intrigue and Tears of Lys. But managed to get a good enough set-up and turn 1 to not let that happen. After Stannis Baratheon hit the field I was good to go. The 5th turn I won on a military challenge of my opponent because he forgot about Shireen Baratheon. He wanted to get rid of Lightbringer with Rattleshirt's Raiders because it was on Robert Baratheon. On my challenges phase my opponent didn't have any characters left standing, so I made 3 unopposed challenges, for a total of 6power. Then I won dominance and stole his only power with Chamber of the Painted Table.

Game 5 Lannister Banner of the Dragon - Loss

I needed to play around Tears of Lys but I forgot. I had Robert Baratheon knelt and 2 gold to play Ours is the Fury. My brain must have been turned off for like 2seconds I think? Ours is the Fury was used to stop him from a military challenge with The Tickler. Then I just facepalm'd when he used Tyrion Lannister, stealthed my Melisandre to get the unopposed Tears of Lys. The nexted turn he marshaled Ser Gregor Clegane. Even though I managed to kneel Ser Gregor Clegane and milk Tywin Lannister twice, I still lost do to not having enough military and intrigue strenght.

So yeah was a Very fun event, even if i didn't make top 8. It got me wanting to play even more. Hope to see all of you again soon.
