As soon as you mention Stark and Tyrell the first thought that pops to mind is melee... but why has this style of deck not seen play in the joust environment? Is the deck to fragile to make the crossover? Is it too much of a 1 trick pony? Is there a build that can take the general ethos of the melee deck and make it a viable choice for joust?

This is my take on such a deck...

The melee version is about rush, since control effects would slow its own rush it seldom makes it into the final deck... but joust isn't about winning by turn 3/4 or never... lets get those core set Cats and Winterfells back into the deck. It also adds a lady and str boost to help with sansa rose and the mighty Lanni Dragon deck.

Adding the offensive capabilities of Tyrell to the sheer strength of stark... what can we come up with?

There are 17 knights in the deck (great jobs van are to represent Edmure) 10 ladies... 27/38 character cards enable LSR to trigger without making the deck inefficient or adding them in for the sole purpose of triggering LSR.

with the combination of 3 cats, 3 winterfells, 3 mare in heats and 2 milks Im hoping that will be enough to shut down the high argo decks.

What you guys and gals think? Anything Im missing?

I think you'll be short on money most of the time. For that sole reason I'd cut those two Arbor Knights and Hobber for 3x stark reducer (this will also improve your setups). Imho one Sansa is one too many and 2 Brans are one too few. Also as you are trying for a rush, I'd conider swapping Coppers for another Tourney.

Arbour Knights with a mare in heat are amazing, as well as having that all important int icon.

Sansa is a cost 2 str 4 lady. she only gets reduced by dead stark characters so will stay a higher str for longer... again holding that int icon

Hobber is a potential cut, searching for an extra character is nice but not huge for 5 cost when you usually cannot play that lady straight away.

I would like to fit in some reducer dudes and 1 more Bran but its finding the room. Whenever I have done setup checks Ive managed at least a 3/4 card setup. 10 economy cards means I should see one on setup too

I know what a 1STR knight with mare can do, especially if there is a buff possibility, regardless I would still lean to the mindset that they are disposable in this deck.

Sansa is imo a terrible pick in my meta as there is an abundance of aggro decks, so she very quickly gains that insight. If the meta where you play is different, maybe she is semi decent. I'd still consider cutting her as you have icon fixing in the form of little birds.

Hobber is flat out terrible in low to mid eco decks for the reason you stated (as you cannot play the lady the same turn, she can easily get claimed on int since you've spent 5 on no-int char, so you will have achieved nothing but a poor tempo play).
