Listened to the podcast and gave this a go at my FLGS monthly tournament, noting that i'm not the best player ever i went 1-3 with it my first game was a complete wash with varys wiping my board consisting of Euron and Asha turn one and i never quite recovered. Game 2 i won quite handily and pillaged close to half the opponents deck, worth noting that she was a new player and was not using her own deck. Game 3 i lost thanks to a massive misplay on my behalf and not The Hand's Judgment a Risen from the Sea which saved his Asha, if i had been paying attention then i would have won that game handily as well. Cards of note in all games was little bird, i mostly used it on Asha to give her all three icons and stealth, voltron Asha included giving her King of Salt and Rock using her for all 3 chalenges getting unopposed and pillage on all 3 was awesome fun. Also giving Ser Gregor Clegane an Intrigue icon was hilarious. I did feel like i was missing the iron fleet scout just a little bit to get through the challenges for pillage and if i didn't see a Rattleshirt's Raiders then Milk was a definate problem so maybe a Summons could help. Otherwise i like it and will put my own spin on it and take it to more games nights and hopefully improve with the deck. |
Small edit to my comment it was only a 3 game tournament and not 4 so my record was in fact 1-2... |
