Xenotrobe 36
This is the deck that I played to 24th place at 2016 worlds with a 6-2 record with 1 modified win. The idea of the deck is to slowly grind out cards against the majority of decks and use the advantage provided by your plots to let you win the long game. Overall I was happy with how the deck played but would definitely make a few changes when looking at future releases.
I played against mostly Lannister and had a 4-1 record against them with the loss being to a mountain activation. The reasoning for the massive number of 1-ofs is so that you are not drawing dead cards in the middle of the game, with none of your characters mattering that much if they get killed.

How did you like God's Eye? What was the strategy with Varys? |
I kind of get your reasoning for playing so many characters as a 1x, but you could easily just slot Close Call if you're so worried about dead draws on unique characters. Duplicates are SO strong in this game. They can be set up and they're a save that can't be cancelled or interacted with(yet). It's not a terrible list, but it's definitely not optimal. |
Also no attachment control D: |
Nice deck. Congrats on being top in faction at worlds. 6-2 means you only missed the cut on tiebreakers. Well played! I noticed you have more draw then many Martell's include, and tou had a few extra neutral spots. If you could do things again would you have swapped something out for another Tears or Varys or were you happy with how often you saw those cards with your higher draw rate? |
.....this list actually hurts me.... only x1 Arianne and Nymeria?? ...playing the viper and Tyene but also only as one offs.... So confused.
