The gold choke isn't significant, but the card choke has been beneficial on a fair number of occasions. The prior version of this deck did run 4 winter agendas, but realistically needed another money plot. I've found that Lord of the Crossing often hurts this deck more than helps as you aren't always able to get all three challenges off - or, at least not in the order you really need them to go off - especially against control decks, such as anything bannering Sun. |
With only 3 Winter plots, why not just use The Lord of the Crossing? Is the intent the card choke, because the gold choke would be negligible with only 3 relevant plots to your agenda.
