Some minor changes to my first version. Changed Time of Plenty with A Noble Cause, as it is essentially one more gold (and a second good opener instead of trading), and i dont want to give my opponent a second advantage - trading hurts enough. I also changed one Winter Is Coming to a Gates of Winterfell to have a little more draw now that Time of Plenty is gone. I did not saw a Winter is coming in any of my five test games, but i won them all, so i think that you can cut the second Winter is coming out if you feel better with 61 cards.

I totally like this deck, especially Blackfish and Jeyne are MVP. However, more testing is needed (i am still unsure if a third Bodyguard would be helpful to secure my big renown chars).

Again, i am thankful to any other suggestions.

On average, how much power does Fat Cat have in most games? I currently run a very similar Tully Rush deck, but I use Catelyn Stark (Core) in place of Fat Cat as I didn't find that the latter was gaining enough power to warrant her cost.

I know that Fat Cat vs Core Cat is a tough decision, as Core Cat is a extremely good card. However, i think that Core Cat is better in a more controlish deck type and i prefer Fat Cat for this rush deck. I dont know what's the average power on Fat Cat, as the variance is very high. Sometimes i have just one or two power on her, but i also had games with eight power on Cat. That are the games where she has the most advantage over Core Cat, as she can win or block int/pow-challenges alone. The trick is using Bran/Jory/Fast Eddie/Minstrels/Jon and Riverrun to push her forward. I also like using Wildfire when i already have 12 power and Riverrun on the board. ;-)

Nice deck, I actually went crazy with the power rush theme (worked quite well):

  • Drop core Cat for fat Cat
  • Dropped Winterfell
  • Single copy of core Sansa, single copy of Lady
  • 2x Winter Festival
  • Seal for standing Eddard/Blackfish I have to admit though, that you lose alot of tools and answers (But I kept Milk of the Poppy)

Oh, I dont see Edmure? He is awesome! He is great in power gain but more important in feeding Blackfish and fat cat!

In a newer version, i changed Winter is coming to 1xEdmure and Little Bird to a third Bodyguard. You are right that Edmure is awesome, but it depends on other characters you need on your board. I really like Winter Festival, but i dont want a second one, as i need all other plots and it is very useless vs Kings of Summer decks.

I also like Core Sansa, but the new one fits much better for setup with all my six costers.

And Winterfell...in a highly eventful meta and expecting some Rains-Agendas, i feel that i need that control-push even in a rush-deck.

Fat Cat is great in Rush. When you have Blackfisk Ned and Cat out, you can use Wildfire and Riverun to get 3 power!!!
