Tyrell Rush. As a crossing deck you want to close as fast as possible however with the double reset you have a chance to win if the game stretches out.
First a quick break down of the tournament. It ended being a 10 person event.
Game 1 v Lanister Winter - Win
Game 2 v Targaryn/Kraken - loss (This game was hae as my opponent saw all of his big guys ans I managed to draw 6 of my economy cards in two turns and off of a pleasure barge, having no Charcters in hand hurts)
Game 3 v Greyjoy - Win
Game 4 v Tyrell/Lion - Win
I chose not to have Valar in this deck for several reasons. First the lack of claim is damaging to Crossing as you want to use the strength boost to Win your most important challenge that phase, usually being power. Secondly, you might not be able to get your full icon spread back out to make your three challenges for the Agenda if some of your chud gets wiped out. Third and final reason is that I think Valar hurts Tyrell more than it helps them. Tyrell has a few main charcters that you really want to keep around Randyll Tarly, Renly Baratheon (FFH), Margaery Tyrell, and Brienne of Tarth. If you can protect any of those three in combination you should be off to a great start. Prtoecting them against one Valar from your opponent is much easier to do than against a second one from yourself. Preferbly play these charcters with a dupe or bodyguard when you can. In the end Valar prevents you from getting claims, having appropriate icon spreads, and from keeping your important charcters around.
So why wildfire then? First, wildfire works so perfectly at keeping three charcters alive (your important Renwon and strength boosting guys). It aslo has the added bonous of burning through saves. Secondly we need a reset as we are not running Valar. Wildfire also has a high intiative to help get a jump start on your opponent and to put the game away. The second wildfire is in the deck to help you stabalize should your intial rush get blown out.
