I had a blast running this deck during a special rules tournament that happened the day before US Nationals called "The Trial of the Three."
In this event, 3-person teams made three decks with a single playset of cards (Roseroads and Kingsroads were excluded from the limits). Any limit 1 per deck card (like Valar or Crown of Gold) became limit 1 per team. Since plots would usually be limit 2 per deck they were limit 2 per team. Whichever team won 2/3 games would win the match.
With a scarcity of popular cards like Nightmares and Great Hall, the event was a significant shake up from the normal meta and brought out a lot of cool decks. I believe the winning team included one player running a super Red Viper deck where TRV could claim over 30 power in a single challenge. I hope others will also post here.
While my team didn't win many matches, this particular deck went 4-0 including wins against great players who made the US Nationals cut the following day.
Tyrion's Chain in particular did a lot of work in this tournament. Getting extra triggers for Spikes, Wildfire, and especially Battle of the Blackwater led to huge shifts in games. If Duel was legal for this tournament, I would have considered a 3rd copy.
