I would remove some of your attachments in favor of Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken, which works really well with Aemon + Retaliation. Also, given that you have so many Rangers (and should probably add Qhorin), The Watcher on the Walls seems like a good fit, since you can use Aemon to provoke a military challenge and then murder them. Also, Eastwatch-by-the-Sea is great. Attachments are severely hampered by so many no-attachments characters running around in Targ and NW, which constitute a huge part of the scene these days. |
I have a very similar deck but my focus is on military hate. (no attainted or condemned, only imprisoned and watchers on the wall) The UUU event is a must. I would switch Valar to Wildfire since you only need a smaller board not a wiped one. here is a link for my deck: thronesdb.com |
Great stuff gents. Thanks! |
The version of this deck I have seen runs 3 x Arianne Martell as a way to get Aemon into play after your opponent has had the chance to do all their challenges. Sunspear is also a strong location as it hurts the opponent if they do attack as well as if they don't. I agree on Wildfire over Valar, having no claim hurts this deck. I also agree on the attachments, Craven merits a spot but the rest can go, or at least be severely reduced. Confinement can do a lot more work for you I think. , as can UUU. If you do run Meagre and White Tree I'd consider dropping a plot for Famine. |
Strong points. Thanks! |
Bridge of Skulls has great synergy with what you're trying to do, and is setup friendly. |
try fitting in The Watcher on the Walls to punish for making the Mil challenge :) |
Rarely happens, that I like a deck idea from the very start, but this looks thoroughly good.
Only thing, that has to be evaluated is White Tree / Meager in this kind of deck.
