Rules FAQ

  • When a value is "set" to a specific number, the set modifier overrides all non-set modifiers (including any new non-set modifiers that are added during the duration of the set value). If multiple set modifiers are in conflict, the most recently applied set modifier takes precedence. (See Modifiers.) In other words, the chosen player will not be able to raise their claim value above 0 with cards like Winter Is Coming while the set modifier of Lysa’s Letter is active.

  • The claim value will initially be set to 0, but it will return to its "normal" value the moment the player initiates a challenge of the chosen type.

  • If Storm's End (BtB) is used to change the challenge type to , the original challenge type is still the one that is considered to have been initiated.

  • You can choose yourself with Lysa’s Letter if you wish.
