The deck I took to Battle for Belper Store Championship 2018. Somehow managed to place 3rd which is a lot better than expected as I took this as a fun deck rather than competitive. Some good games though:
Round 1: David - Win
Very close all the way through. 4-cost Margaery Tyrell (HoT) causing me a lot of problems along with the standing intimidate from Victarion Greyjoy. Came down to what the top card of his deck was for the pillage. Pillaged Tris Botley triggering Corpse Lake for 15 - 14.
Round 2: Rik - Win
Rik struggled to keep characters on the board which is supposed to be the other way around with a puppy deck. Lucky trigger of The Tickler discarding Robb Stark (AtSK) off the top of his deck and discarding the copy in play was something he couldn't come back from.
Round 3: Richard - Loss
Again a good game. Cersei Lannister (LoCR), Small Council Chamber and Corpse Lake (I think?) turn one with two Without His Beard racked up the power quickly before an early Valar Morghulis killing Cersei Lannister (LoCR) without chance of drawing a dupe :( I managed to build a board back up with Tris Botley removing all the terminal burn from his deck until my plot 7 Valar Morghulis left me without characters for the remainder of the game. (13 cards left in deck though ;) )
Round 4: Stefan - Win
Stefan was unlucky with his starting draw and seemed to give up quickly on the game. I on the other hand managed to get my pillage out early but no big characters. Without a board presence Stefan couldn't stop my power gain from uo challenges.
Overall, I was right that it would be fun and I think most of my opponents enjoyed the game also. COngrats to Richard for winning the tournament! A whole day of not seeing Tywin - the reason for the faction card - made me rather disappointed.
Edit The plot deck should be 2x late summer feast not Wardens of the west.
