Hey everyone!
AGoT Christmas is over, but at least we have something to look forward to now: Stahleck 2025! What an amazing time is was, can't wait to see you all again at the Castle :)
Some people were curious about the deck I played at Stahleck this year, so here it is: unexpected Greyjoy Brotherhood. The idea of the deck started with Štěpán Kadlec trying to utilize Anya/Moon Door combo in Free Folk deck, and then we brainstormed the idea of changing it to some Greyjoy deck with additional way to support Moon Door: Stony Shore Raider. Since the deck required a lot of Arryns to work, we decided to go with The Brotherhood Without Banners as our agenda. I don't think there's anything too surprising in the draw deck, but what caught a lot of players unexpected is double A City Besieged.
In my version of the deck, I heavily utilize unopposed package, focusing on location/attachment control with 3x We Do Not Sow. In the original version I also had 3x Left-Hand Lucas Codd, and I'm thinking of adding at least 1 more copy of him back, as he proved to be a valuable character to support Saltcliffe Sailor and pump Stony Shore Raider.
Unfortunately, I made couple of crucial mistakes in my 7th game against Alex, and unlucky draw in the last game costed my the cut (I told Chris my hand was shit, but he insisted on double checking it with his Ghost of High Heart and agreed with me :D ).
