This was my first try at creating a deck. Going to try it out later this week.
Interesting deck. Always liked the concept of a control Greyjoy. Just a few thoughts on card inclusions to help out, take it or leave it.
Alannys Greyjoy is ok but probably not worth 2 copies. Salty Navigator is reasonable in a deck that wants to control initiative but this deck doesnt seem to mind if its first or second so dont think Salty is worth it, maybe add another Bastard in Hiding instead. Three copies of Shireen Baratheon doesnt make much sense to me, she's only useful when shes dies so the 2nd and 3rd copy will be dead draw later on. Maester Wendamyr is a great card, helps get through unopposed challenges for Asha and Kraken as well as trigger Support of the People, also great with Little Bird, i would at least play 1 if not 2.
I cant imagine running greyjoy without Iron Fleet Scout. Amazing set-up, annoying maths, triggers Balon Greyjoy, helps survive Dracarys!. I like the Great Kraken and The Seastone Chair numbers with the two Support of the People but you may end up just grabbing economy mid game, maybe one or two Raiding Longship to keep challenges unopposed. 8 limited cards is normally ideal for set-up, but with the number of Baratheon cards and all 6 character reducers you probably can get away with 7, with enough economy plots.
Nice event list. I hate not playing any targetted kill but between Chair and Kneel probably work just fine. We Do Not Sow always makes me want to run at least 1 Euron Crow's Eye, but thats just flavour inclusion.
With 7 events at 1 cost Supporting the Faith doesnt seem to fit too well, that 4 reserve can hurt if its not worth it. Targ Fealty can still burn you and Lanni with Tyrion Lannister can still do whatever it wants. Marching Orders is interesting too, its really hard to play as straight economy again cause of the low reserve, would love to hear your reasoning behind both of those.
Best of luck in testing.
