So I ended the day about ranked about 20th out of 48 players with a record of 3-3. A late addition was Support of the People which I only saw twice the whole day, but payed for it's inclusion during one of those games.

At the moment I don't believe I'd make any changes to the deck as it performed far better than I expected. I have to chock up at least 2 of my losses to horrible misplays in the last 2 games of the day.

Still not sold on Drowned God's Blessing - You only gain the STR benefit if you've got a Priest out which tend to be targets and that targeting thing has been proved to not apply to a lot of typical events that kill your guys (Tears)

@TheBrokenMeeple Put to the Sword, Dracarys! Seen In Flames, Treachery, Take the Black Confinement Like Warm Rain are still around. I see Drowned God's Blessing as being a powerful resistance to targeted kill and in the mirror match against The Kraken's Grasp being able to protect you powerful high cost The First Snow of Wintercharacter from target removal is good even if it misses one of them.

@TheBrokenMeepledoesn't apply to lot of events that kill your guys? Tears is one, what are the others?

The versatility of the card is incredible. +1 initiative is incredibly useful to greyjoy. The combo with priest is has some huge potential, especially with balon.

And as @Crabshack101has state there are still plenty of events that it can shutdown.

It's more deck space though that GJ simply doesn't have. It's already pushed out the Iron Fleet Scouts. Also Tears is the big one that you get killed by generally anyway. Mirri isn't an event so she can get past this. Dracarys is a pain but if you put this on a STR 5 character they'll have survived anyway had you not. It's mainly against PTTS as those others rarely see play any more.

@hagarrr I guess it doesn't work against The Watcher on the Walls

True that. But in the end your main concern is Targ/Bara/Lanni - they are the big decks played constantly at the mo, with Martell catching up. Martell tend to run Tears anyway. Seen In Flames doesn't target a character in play so I don't know why that's in the list.
