This is a deck I took to our Bulgarian neighbours' tournament, it went to semifinals with a total score of 4-3.
Swiss:
Round 1 vs Targ Crossing - Loss
Round 2 vs Targ KoS - Win
Round 3 vs Greyjoy Fealty (I think) - Win
Round 4 vs Bara Fealty - Win
Round 5 vs Greyjoy Crossing - Modified Loss
Top 8: vs Stark Fealty - Win
Top 4: vs Targ Fealty - Loss
As you can see, deck hates Targ matchups, and for a reason. Both Targ opponents seeing their Crown of Gold and Dracarys!s didn't help my game...
Deck's idea is slowly building your board and controlling your opponent with icon removal, blanking, resets, claim replacement and a bit of a target kill. Playing 4+ gold character every turn and trying to poison opponent's 4+ is really important so The First Snow of Winter does most damage. Vengeance for Elia is best kept for those turns, followed by Marched to the Wall.
You either win by clearing opponent's board or slowly cruising and quickly finishing the job with The Red Viper/Doran's Game.
I like to have some Nedlyness in my decks, therefore some interesting card inclusions. In Doran's Name is the most questionable choice here, although it helps from time to time.
Any suggestions and ideas are more than welcome since I'll be playing with this deck in the future (until "The Rains of Castamere" come when I'll try to make it work in Martell). In my opinion, Martell Fealty is still the way to go right now, although not necessarily based around Lords/Ladies/Doran.

I would test The Scorpion's Sting, but I'm not sure it's better than Doran's Game... It'll almost certainly be worse when Valar Morghulis comes. I could see a scenario for Spearmaiden to work with the deck, since it has aggro moments, but not sure what to take out for it. Neutrals don't look good. |
What changes would you make with For Family Honor legality but pre-Lions box?
